Went to see Slime Girls and Anamanaguchi this weekend. Amazeballs. Go check out their beautiful pop hybrid electronica and video game-inspired music if you haven’t already felt your heart melting through your eye sockets. Words. What are they, even?

Life

Working full-time in front of Excel sheets in a cramped work space is the worst thing that I can be doing to my eyes and wrists. That said…

Commissions

I still have 5 commissions to do. 3 months later…. Uh. Sorry. I’m going to spend Wednesday psyching myself up to doing them, and then I’m going to do them on Thursday. Coming home from work has left my store of creativity more or less drained and my eyes unable to look much at a computer screen (yet I still somehow find 26 hours a day to be on social networks? The plight of growing up in the digital era.). It will be done. I will MAKE IT SO. 

Anyway, here is me with a thing I drew while art-ing with friends recently. We are all trying to stay creative (aka calm) in this bleak post-grad world.

I’m as scary and awkward as I look. Watch out.

Progress at the Art Ranch

‘Twas a working weekend at the Art Ranch this weekend!

Totally painted over a barrel I had previously worked on because I just wasn’t feeling it. Kind of regretting painting over it instead of painting on another barrel (at the same time not because it wasn’t that great), but nonetheless I really like what I started anew.

So far I’ve been wanting to call this one “This is what you have to look forward to, Young Asian American Girl.” Aw yeah super long titles. 5eva. lol

Medium: acrylic and spray paint.
